The successful establishment of the Keep Australia Fishing action group has shown that fishing political bodies and angler's groups can capably operate under a united front.

Though a relatively small step, our report on former test cricketer Mark Taylor’s appointment to the role of ambassador for the organisation adds further weight to the argument that angler’s rights are a serious political issue — and with memories of the Margiris

still fresh on our minds, the issue is more relevant than it’s ever been.
