Mystery fish kill on NSW South Coast

The NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) is investigating a large fish kill on Burrill Lake, on the NSW South Coast. The fish kill was reported near the boat ramp at Kings Point over the June long weekend. A DPI spokesman advised anglers not to take dead fish or shellfish from the water, adding that the cause was a suspected toxic algae bloom.
