Qld angler wins a CruiseCraft Explorer
A Maryborough angler who entered a Far North Queensland fishing competition hooked more than just a few fish when he won himself a CruiseCraft Explorer 575.
72-year old grandfather, Trevor Gallehawk, entered the annual Boyne Tannum HookUp and ended up winning the tournament and taking home the tournament’s major prize.
“I thought I had won it a few years ago when they called out the name Trevor, but it turned out to be another Trevor,” Gallehawk said.
“My grandson is a mad fisherman, so together with my son, they will be using the CruiseCraft a bit more than me.”
CruiseCraft is a long term supporter of the event, which this year attracted more than 4000 competitors. Visit www.cruisecraft.com.au for more information.
CAPTION: Winners are grinners: Mick Tedford, Gladstone Marine Centre; Gavin Paterson, Yamaha; Carl Carter, Gladstone Observer; Trevor Gallehawk, winner of the CruiseCraft Explorer 575; Peter Benston, CruiseCraft; and Pat Laws, HookUp president.
