New dry stack boat storage for Brisbane

Brisbane boaters now have access to dry stack boat storage thanks to the East Coast Marina multi-million dollar Dry Stack development

According to the operators, the dry stack boat storage facility is “the newest and most modern undercover dry boat storage facility of its kind in Australia”.

The boat storage dry stack can hold 240 boats up to 10m long and is located a few minutes’ drive from the Brisbane CBD.

East Coast Marine operations Manager Steve Newbury said the design process at every stage focused on reducing the environmental footprint. The dry stack boat storage design called for recyclable building materials during construction, plus rain-water harvesting for boat washing, motor flushing and landscape irrigation, among many other features.

“The Marina’s location on beautiful Moreton Bay comes with a responsibility to protect Brisbane’s waterways and marine life,” Newbury said.

“East Coast Marina is also equally big on service, offering a one-of-a-kind experience to Brisbane boaties.

“It’s fully secured with card key access and 24/7 CCTV surveillance and the ability to launch and retrieve boats of various shapes and sizes with incredible efficiency.

“It’s like valet-parking for boats. Customers can ring ahead, and we’ll have their boat ready and waiting for them in the water by the time they arrive.

East Coast Marina also operates 365 water berths for larger boats.
