hardtops are all the rage right now

Fibreglass boat manufacturer Cruise Craft has added a hardtop boat to the Cruise Craft range, the Cruise Craft Explorer 595 Hard Top.

The Cruise Craft 595HT is the third boat to be added to the hardtop boat range, with Cruise Craft having previously released its Explorer 625 and Explorer 685 in hardtop versions.

“Since we launched our initial Hard Top model, the market has voted overwhelmingly that this is the style of boat that they prefer,” said Nathan Nichols of Cruise Craft. “Sales of Cruise Craft Hard Top models outstrip those of the conventional soft top models,” he said.

The CruiseCraft Explorer 595 Hard Top is manufactured using a split mould technique. The actual hardtop component is from a purpose-built fibreglass moulding specifically made for this model.

The aft end of the structure is made from a pair of steel supports which also function as hand-holds. The windscreen is made from full-height toughened glass, with sliding glass side panels on both sides.

The cabin incorporates an optional sliding Perspex door, which is lockable. A further option is a slide-out canopy, providing even more effective rain, wind and sun protection.
