STABICRAFT 2050 SUPERCAB
Popular Kiwi alloy builder Stabicraft had redesigned its 2050 Supercab, incorporating many of the features found on its larger model boats.
The 2050 has been remodelled from the keel up to now include Stabicraft’s pioneering Game Chaser Transom and the “virtually unsinkable” Arrow Pontoons which have contributed to the brand’s rep for a smooth ride in the rough stuff.
The new-look transom increases displacement aft and sharpens the stern entry for backing up on trophy fish with confidence, as well as aiding manoeuvrability in reverse.
The Supercab’s livebait tank and bait station have also undergone a redesign to feature better ergonomics and all-important drink holders.
A tow-weight of around 1.5 tonnes mean the 2050 Supercab remains a simple proposition to travel with and launch easily.
Stabicraft marine Australasian sale manager Sean McColl said despite recording strong sales of the 2050 for more than a decade, the time was right for a complete redesign.
“We listened to what people needed and wanted in a boat this size and focused on getting that right,” he said.
“Now that features like the Maxwell winch and extra-large livebait tank are standard, plus our innovative pontoon and hull changes, we think fishers will love it.”
Packages for the new 2050 Supercab start from less than $80,000 with a four-stroke outboard.
