NEW BOATS: QUINTREX 530 SEA SPIRIT
Alloy stalwart Quintrex has steadily been introducing its much vaunted Blade Hull into smaller models in the Quintrex aluminium boat range. The latest rig to sport the revised hull architecture, the Quintrex 530 Sea Spirit, suggests an all-rounder that addresses the needs of the active boating family.
Built tough with a 4mm hull and plate-look sides, the 530 Sea Spirit is devoid of the familiar pressed clinker appearance and is endowed with a smart silhouette that shouldn’t polarise potential customers. A sharp bow entry is complemented by a full bow with moderated flare that should cleave through chop, generates buoyancy, promotes a dry ride and retains internal cabin and storage volume. Stability at rest also promises to be a strong suit.
A flexible interior layout retains a generous fishing cockpit with a reassuring cockpit depth. A removable rear lounge folds out of the way until deployed. A 95L underfloor fuel tank should provide ample range for its size and intent. The rig can be further enhanced by ticking several boxes on the substantial options list. Some of the more popular ones include a Bimini and envelope, radio, burley bucket, live bait tank, ski pole, fish finder and transom door.
Quintrex National Account Manager Cameron Wood said the 530 Sea Spirit was great value for money for young families looking at getting into boating.
“The Sea Spirit is a great family friendly option and you can carry up to 7 people so there is plenty of room to bring everyone along,” Wood said.
“With the new aluminium dash and lining free cabin this is an extremely practical boat, with plenty of options to ensure families get a boat that will suit their needs,” he said.
The 530 Sea Spirit is available as a Quintrex Instant Boating Package including a boat, Evinrude E-TEC engine and Quintrex trailer with a three-year limited warranty.
