New Boats: Bayliner Element
Bayliner recently introduced a new entry-level package to its range. Dubbed the Element, Bayliner says it’s a simple, multi-purpose craft with a focus on entertainment and family fun.
Bayliner has employed an M-shaped hull that it says delivers stability and affords flat, safe turns. in fact, those safe turns are something customer feedback had indicated was high on buyers’ priority list in the entry-level market.
The Element features opposed seating for up to six, high gunwales and generous freeboard for security, plus an intuitive helm with multi-function gauges. The boat has “automotive-style handling”, which Bayliner says will quickly endear it to novice skippers and veterans alike. The open helm also affords unobstructed, 360° vision, instilling further confidence in those new to boating.
With an LOA of 4.9m, a beam of 2.1m and an all-up weight (with trailer) of 1528kg, the Element is compact to store and easy and manageable to tow, while the 45L fuel tank will ensure hours of fun on the water.
Powered by a 60hp Mercury outboard, Bayliner says the Element is perfect for cruising, watersports, and general family fun. It’s priced at $24,990 driveaway, including trailer.
