VORTEX OUTBOARD OFFERS NEW ELECTRIC-START
Queensland boatbuilding giant Telwater, the company behind iconic brands like Quintrex, Stacer and Savage, has announced the addition of a new electric-start outboard to its range of Vortex outboards
The 30hp Two-Stroke Electric Start engine is said to be light-weight and easy to use and comes complete with a charging circuit. The manufacturer says the engines is resilient to corrosion and is backed by a three-year factory warranty. Other features include manual-tilt and shallow-water drive as well as twist-grip throttle control and adjustable steering friction for added safety.
Vortex national sales manager, Jason Draeger, said the range helped make boating more affordable and accessible, and that there was now more variety on offer with the range expanding to include the 30hp Electric Start.
“The 30hp, now featuring the electric-start and charging circuit, is a great addition to the range,” said Draeger. “The 30hp is one of our most popular engines and we are expecting the new model to be just as successful,” he said.
Vortex engines can be purchased online and can be delivered to and serviced by “a variety of marine outlets available Australia-wide”, according to the manufacturer.
The 30hp Two-Stroke Electric Start is available for purchase online for $3110. Visit www.vortexmarine.com.au for more information.
