OUTDOOR, TINNIE AND TACKLE SHOW RETURNS

The Sydney 4WD & Adventure Show and Western Sydney Tinnie & Tackle Expo is set to return to the city’s western suburbs this October.

To be staged at the Western Sydney International Dragway at Eastern Creek over October 18-20, the massive combined expo will be packed to the gunwales with all manner of gear from the boating, fishing, 4WD, camping and RV worlds.

The combined event attracted more than 16,000 people last year, but judging by early interest, show director Peter Woods said he expects those numbers to swell considerably this year.

“We have just put the prospectus out into the marketplace and already we are receiving a substantial number of enquiries,” he said. “The idea is to bring everything people could want into the one place. Visitors will be able to check out all the latest products in caravans, camper trailers, new-release 4WDs, 4WD accessories, camping gear, boats, fishing gear and more.

“We will also be bringing back the favourite attractions — the 4WD test track, the 4x4 Extreme Show, live fishing demonstrations and the Engel Bush Camp stage.”
