NEW QUINTREX 690 TRIDENT

Quintrex latest offshore-capable fishing rig, the Quintrex 690 Trident, is the largest model in the range — and according tot eh company it’s “been built with the tough conditions of the ocean in mind”.

The 690 Trident is said to offer “superior stability” thanks to its Millennium Blade Hull. Quintrex says the model has a new stretch-formed hull design that has an entirely new concave flare in the side sheets and bottom sides.

Some key features that will interest anglers include an XL killtank, XL livebait tank, alloy cutting board, four rodholders and 200lt fuel tank. The 690 Trident also has a new selfdraining tread-plate floor with an automatic, non-return scupper draining system. A walkthrough cabin hatch offers protection from the elements while still leaving room on the deck for fishing and storage.

A range of options are available including bimini and envelope, rear lounge, vinyl wrap and Mark-5X Fishfinder. Quintrex also adds that the Trident has plenty of storage with large sidepockets, anchorwell and seats with storage boxes.

National Quintrex Account Manager Cameron Wood said the 690 Trident is a very impressive boat with more features included as standard than what is usually seen on similar models.

“The 690 Trident provides one of the smoothest rides even in the rough water offshore,” said Wood. “It’s a fisherman’s dream boat and with a horsepower rating of 150 there is plenty of power to handle the offshore conditions,” he said.

The 690 Trident measure 6.8m. It is available as a Quintrex Instant Boating Package including boat, trailer, engine and three year-factory warranty.
