Classic Boat Owners Wanted for Sydney Festival
The National Maritime Museum is calling on Sydney boat owners to showcase their classic vessels at this year’s Classic and Wooden Boat Festival, held on the weekend of October 13 and 14 at Darling Harbour.
Festival organisers say the event will attract hundreds of families and boating enthusiasts keen to check out some of Sydney’s heritage vessels, from yachts and streamlined speedboats to tugs and workboats.
Participating boat owners will have the opportunity to network with other classic boat owners, including representatives of multiple classic boat clubs including the NSW Wodden Boat Association and the Halvorsen Club, who will each have their own displays.
Organisers say there’ll be entertainment for the whole family including live music, demonstrations, and arts and crafts for the kids.
