VHF Marine Radio Explained in New How-To Videos

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has produced two new videos that provide recreational boaters with up to date information about using VHF marine radios. 

The first shows boaters the importance of operating VHF marine radios correctly, and includes a re-enactment of an actual marine rescue to illustrate this point. The second video was produced in collaboration with the Bureau of Meteorology and is about how and why boaters should always check the weather on their VHF before setting out to sea.
