NEW PRODUCTS: Lowrance compact fishfinders
Lowrance has released a new line-up of compact, dual-frequency fishfinders that are ideal for use in kayaks and small, open boats.
The Mark-4 and Elite-4 series feature DownScan Imaging (DSI) and sonar / chartplotter options, as well as brightly backlit, 8.9cm LED displays that Lowrance reckons are readable in all conditions, including direct sunlight.
Models equipped with DSI deliver what Lowrance describes as "crystal-clear" views of bottom structure including rocks, vegetation and drop-offs, as well as thermoclines, baitfish and target fish, in salt and fresh water of any depth.
All models feature Lowrance’s TrackBack function, which allows fishos to scan through sonar history and pinpoint previously discovered fishing hotspots.
Lowrance’s new Mark-4 and Elite-4 series will be available in the first quarter of 2012.
