High alert in NSW
NSW Maritime has called upon boaties toexercise extreme caution when navigating NSW’s coastal waterways, following therecent heavy rains experienced in many parts of the state.
According to a NSW Maritime spokesman, NeilPatchett, the deluge has seen fallen trees and debris washed into many rivers,estuaries and bays, presenting a significantly heightened risk of collision,while in some instances navigational markers have been damaged or even washedaway.
