Haines Hunter raises the bar
In a move that mirrors advances made in the auto industry more than decade ago, Haines Hunter has launched three new initiatives, announced at a press function at the Melbourne factory in March.
First was the introduction of Haines Hunter Boat Insurance, a collaborative venture between Haines Hunter and Nautilus Marine Boat Insurance to provide coverage for new and used boats and PWCs. Haines Hunter managing director, John Haber, said that benefits associated with new policy schedules include pay by the month options, up to $10,000 coverage on the loss of personal belongings and a 24/7 emergency claim service.
Haber also announced details of the new Haines Hunter Club, which he said was set up to “help Haines Hunter owners get more enjoyment from their purchase”. Club members will enjoy a range of benefits including special offers from sponsors and suppliers, a 15 per cent discount at Anglers’ Bait World, and a 10 per cent discount at Nautek Marine.
Also unveiled at the press briefing was the company’s new Aftercare Centre program offering professional damage repair to everything from scuffed gelcoat to worn gunwale rubbers and major electrical components. The Centre also stocks a select range of accessories including sounders, GPS systems and livebait setups.
