Chinese powercat builder introduces new models

Chinese manufacturer Hunan Catamarine has introduced three new twin-hull models to the Australian market. They rub up against present models of course but are “priced competitively” to establish a following among local buyers with high expectations.

The boats are a 5.9m cuddy cab ($23,500); a 5.2m cuddy ($18,900); and a 5.2m centre-console ($15,900).

Info about the manufacturer and the boats themselves is scarce but the importer says the craft are built to the highest standards, can be customised, are backed with solid after sales service and spare parts, and are supported by technicians should a customer strike a problem during the warranty period.
