2011 Melbourne International Boat & Lifestyle Festival

2011 Melbourne International Boat & Lifestyle Festival

The 2011 Melbourne International Boat & Lifestyle Festival (MIBLF)

is set to shine at Waterfront City, Docklands from today through to Sunday.

The event features loads of boats on-water in the marina, while on the promenade visitors can view the latest trailerable fishing and skiboats from many of Melbourne’s top dealers. Some unusual model include the Sealegs amphibious marine craft and the new Misty Harbour powered pontoons.

The festival includes the BIA Bream Fishing Classic — a catch-and-release and weigh-in competition, and the Yamaha Supertank on a new stage dedicated to all things fishing.

Food, wine and music are featured for all the family at the 2011 MIBLF, which sprawls from Docklands’ NewQuay to the festive piazza at Waterfront City.

Organisers said extra entertainment includes “come try” sailing and canoeing, boat rides, live music, stage activities, giveaways, information clinics and talks from leading identities in their fields.

And don’t forget to come and see us at the Trade-A-Boat and TrailerBoat display at Stand 37. We have on-show The Blue Meanie prize package — VE SS Commodore Ute, Yamaha Grizzly ATV and Yamaha WaveRunner FX SHO jetski valued at more than $100,000. All visitors are entitled to one free entry into The Blue Meanie competition. Even better, take out a subscription and receive 100 entries.

As well, visitors will also get one free entry into our Whitsunday Escape competition, in which you can win one of two Sunsail seven-night yacht charters to The Whitsundays. If you subscribe, you’ll also receive 100 entries, too.
