More choice from Clearwater Boats
Clearwater Boats, a Whittley brand, has introduced three new fibreglass fishing boats, made in Australia. The boats are the CW 2000 Centre-Console, the CW2040 Sports Cuddy and the CW2090 Hard-Top Fisherman, all available through dealerships in Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, Queensland and Tasmania.
The CW2000 has a 2.3m beam, ample deck space for fishing, and plenty of room at the helm for a boatie’s favourite instrumentation. This model also has a large casting platform that converts into a sun lounge.
The CW2040 Sports Cuddy can be specced with an optional hardtop with a quarter screen. Clearwater says the cockpit has been designed “as a work area for catching fish” but with its inherent versatility this boat is said to be geared up for diving, watersports and general fun on the water.
The CW 2090 is a 6m hardtop described as “a true offshore game boat” with a full-length cabin and plenty of storage space for fishing gear.
The CW2000 starts from $59,999; the CW2040 from $65,999; and the CW2090 from $69,999. All models come with two large killtanks, one under the rear seat and one (which can be plumbed to hold livebait) under the floor.
