Mercury shines at Hawkesbury
The Mercury Pro XS Racing skirace team has managed to smash two records at the 2010 Hawkesbury 120 in August.
The team consists of Driver Peter Lewis, observer David Mailes, and skiers Glenn Hannan and Jacob Ross, along with their OptiMax Pro XS 250. They beat previous records in the SMOC Expert category — cutting 34 seconds from the record to finish in 53 minutes 40 seconds; and the SMOC Social category — where the mark was lowered by 52 seconds to cross the line in 25 minutes 02 seconds.
