Haines Group divests Nautique range
The Haines Group has announced it will no longer be distributing Correct Craft’s Nautique range of towboats in Australia. The Haines Group had distributed the Nautique brand in Australia for eight years, initially taking the range on back in 2002.
According to a recent Haines Group press release, the move reflects the company’s current strategy of getting back to basics. “The Haines Group has taken the decision to hand the Nautique brand back to the USA,” the release states. “The decision has been taken to allow The Haines Group to focus on its core business, which has kept the company strong for more than 50 years,” it adds.
The Haines Group has said it will honour and complete all current orders for Nautique boats, but all sales, warranty, spare parts, advertising and sponsorship requests should now be directed to Nautique’s USA headquarters via www.nautiques.com.
