Channel Marine Takes Top Spot

Tasmanian dealer Channel Marine, located at Margate on the island’s south-east, has been named the Mercury Marine dealer of the year for Victoria/Tasmania. The business is owned by Mark Condie and Adrian McNally, who have been servicing the North West Bay region for more than 30 years.

“It did come as a surprise, I have to admit,” said McNally. “Mercury told us during the year that we were doing fairly well but to have our name announced — to beat every other dealership in Tasmania and Victoria — it was an unexpected pleasure. When customers walk in we do our best to give them the information and products which are right for them. It really is all about customer service and we wouldn’t have gotten this result if it wasn’t for the staff we have, so I really have to thank them — they’re great,” he said.
