And the winner is...

Good things don’t always come in small packages. Just ask Lynne Hampson from Ulverstone, Tasmania, who today found out she that she’s the lucky TrailerBoat

Lynne tells us that she and her husband had been looking at buying a boat for some time. They’d considered looking into a used boat for around $30,000 or less, but were put off by the idea of buying “somebody else’s dream” so they put the money in the bank instead.

Little did Lynne know that she needn’t have to worry about that after casting her winning entry at the Melbourne Boat Show. She tells us she distinctly remembers telling our man John Willis, who was manning the TrailerBoat stand, that “it would do just nicely” after having a nice long look at the boat (apparently John jokingly promised that he’d personally deliver it if she won).

Lynne didn’t believe us at first when we called her. “You’re not pulling my leg are you?” she asked when she got the good news. No, certainly not. Indeed, we look forward to joining Lynne and family next month when she visits the mainland and we hand over the Coastryder package at the TrailerBoat offices.
