Nitro Marine Makes It A Hat Trick

For the third consecutive year, Nitro Marine on the Gold Coast has been named Mercury Marine’s “Dealer of the Year”.

“Nitro Marine has proven year after year its willingness to go the extra mile for customers, and winning this highly competitive award once again is a true testament to the organisation’s professionalism and dedication,” said John Temple, Mercury Marine’s general manager, Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific.

“Michael and Therese Waugh continue to ensure Nitro Marine maintains its unbeaten standard, and I applaud their hard work and dedication,” he said.

“2009 brought with it tough times for the marine industry during the Global Financial Crisis, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our dealers for the effort they put in to ensuring Mercury stayed on top of the game and customers were kept happy and on the water,” he added.

The “Dealer of the Year” award involves an in-depth judging process which not only covers sales achievements, but all aspects of a Mercury dealership including customer service, promotion of Mercury product and the general presentation of the dealership.

While Nitro Marine took out the big prize, Mercury said several other dealerships were recognised at the latest round of dealer meetings for their excellent performances in 2009.
