Andrew Short Marine is powering ahead, with the Sydney-based two-outlet operation recently announcing it will be the exclusive dealer for XFI Boats in the New South Wales capital, while also recently being appointed as the southern Sydney dealer for Stacer Boats.
The XFI tie-up represents something of a new direction for Andrew Short Marine, which is now adding the ski and wakeboard market to its extensive customer base. XFi Boats managing director, Dean Evans, said the union will bring about significant benefits for both parties. “Having Andrew Short Marine represent our brand gives me great confidence that XFI boat owners will be looked after by leading professionals within the boating industry,” he said.
The Stacer appointment will see Andrew Short Marine’s range of aluminum boats increase markedly, as they will be sold alongside products from Brooker Boats. Andrew Short Marine’s sales manager, Beau Smith, said he was sure the arrangement would work well for customers. “Having the two leaders in the aluminium boating market available to customers under the one roof really puts Andrew Short Marine ahead of the competition,” he said.
