MUSTO A GOOD FIT FOR SIBS 2010

Marine apparel brand Musto said it will introduce a new audience to its corporate offering after being named official clothing supplier to the Sydney International Boat Show (SIBS) in July and August this year.

The agreement will see the Northern Beaches-headquartered brand dress all SIBS organisers, staff and volunteers with items from Musto's polo, jacket and shirt corporate collection.

The event's 2010 instalment, staged at The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre & Cockle Bay Marina in Sydney's Darling Harbour, marks the 15th year that Musto has supported the trade and consumer show, run by the Boating Industry Association's NSW branch.

Musto will also stage a daily fashion parade, and will provide a sneak peak of its new season lifestyle and sailing ranges, planned for instore launch early next year. Fellow exhibitors, as well as the general public, will also get a chance to check out the brand at the Musto stand. Two new Musto ranges — the Sardinia range and Corsica jackets — will see their debut at the show.

Musto managing director Duncan Curnow said the signing of the agreement marks the single largest sponsorship agreement undertaken by the brand each year, adding that he was delighted to have been selected to partner the show's organising committee.

"SIBS is the largest boat show in the Southern Hemisphere. We are thrilled to be able to play our part in ensuring its ongoing success," Curnow said.
