SANCTUARY COVE EXHIBITORS CONFIDENT
The organisers of the 2010 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show said they believe the marine sector is showing boosted confidence in the economy. Around 340 exhibitors are said to have confirmed their attendance, while three large pavilions are almost full, said Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show general manager, Barry Jenkins.
“We already have 50 world and Australian marine product-launches that we know about, while the 2010 show has drawn exhibitors from the US, Italy, New Zealand and China,” said Jenkins.
“Many exhibitors see Sanctuary Cove as crucial in reaching important international and Australian industry markets and consumers. Overall there is an underlying confidence surfacing within the industry, and it appears that the marine sector is rebuilding itself from the gloom of late 2008,” he said.
The show is famous for its extensive selection of recreational boats of every description, including sailboats, yachts, cruisers, as well as a strong presence by engineering and engine companies. The show also has an extensive display area for marine products and accessories.
Club Marine is the 2010 Show’s major sponsor, and TrailerBoat’s sister publication Trade-A-Boat is among the media sponsors.
Now in its 22nd year, the 2010 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show runs from May 20-23, from 9am to 5pm daily.
