RACQ ASSISTS STRANDED BOATIES

Many a luckless Queensland motorist has relied on RACQ to get out of trouble, and now boaties in the Brisbane metro and Gold Coast area can enjoy the same privilege with deliveries of marine-grade batteries in times of need.

The RACQ range includes various marine and deep-cycle battery products called Watercraft. The calcium-calcium maintenance-free batteries are sealed to prevent accidental acid spillage, and they have a long storage life.

RACQ says its batteries are specifically built for rough sea conditions, and they also have high CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) ratings and a high reserve capacity.

The batteries have
built-in carry handles to assist with battery installation and removal. They are available for purchase by RACQ members and non-members, although RACQ members receive a special price.

Note that the delivery service is limited to land delivery, and only in areas trafficable by two-wheel drive vehicles. The service does not include battery installation, and batteries are subject to availability.

Batteries start from $165 and have a two-year warranty.
