CLUB MARINE MANDURAH BOAT SHOW PREPARES TO LAUNCH

The prospectus for the Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show has been launched, and the event organisers said the

West Australian boating industry is getting set for the biggest show ever this October.

The Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show is now in its 16th year. The event is the third largest boat show in Australia, which is said to attract an average audience of 22,000 people, as well as exhibitors from all over the country.

Show manager Peter Woods said that last year’s show was a success, despite the industry feeling the effects of the economic downturn. He said he is expecting more exhibitors, products, and larger crowds, thanks to the economy showing growing signs of confidence.

He added that the show will enjoy significant layout and design improvements.

“Last year we had more than 200 exhibitors and more than 500 boats, plus 112 on the water,” Woods said.

“This year the show features a new super marquee which is bigger, higher and wider, offering a more open interior display area. There have also been further refinements to the layout, and a number of improvements made to aid in parking and transport.”

Bookings are now open for the 2010 Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show, which runs from October 8 – 10 at the Mandurah Ocean Marina in Mandurah, WA.
