The seventh Rosehill Trailer Boat Show

ROSEHILL TRAILER BOAT SHOW TO BE HELD IN MARCH

The seventh Rosehill Trailer Boat Show, organised by the Boating Industry Association of NSW (BIA), will be held over the first weekend in March at the Rosehill Gardens Events Centre.

The show is said to be an excellent opportunity for bargain hunters, with exhibitors keen to talk deals on boats, engines, electronics, tackle and all manner of boating equipment and accessories.

The BIA said it is once more “throwing open the doors” by offering free admission, as well as ample free parking. The organisers said the 2009 Rosehill event show was the first to employ the “open gate” policy, and that this policy virtually doubled the attendance, with more than 10,200 (compared with 5800 in 2008) turning out for the previous exhibition.

“Many of our members utilise Rosehill as an opportunity to clear excess stock, and for that reason the show has provided some real opportunities for boat buyers,” said Domenic Genua, marketing and events manager for the BIA.

“We’re very fortunate in that the exhibitors list comprises the absolute pick of Sydney’s marine dealerships, and for added icing on the cake we have added attractions like Brett Thompson and his performing fish in the massive Supertank, and an informative display by NSW Maritime” he said.

“In addition to the latest boating information, show visitors to the NSW Maritime exhibit can renew boating licences and registration, and pick up brochures dealing with all manner of recreational boating information.”

The Rosehill Gardens Events Centre is on James Ruse Drive, Rosehill, situated between Parramatta and Victoria Roads.

The event runs on March 6 and 7, 2010, and is open each day from 9am to 5pm.
