NEW LEWIS SKI BOATS APPOINTMENT
Melbourne’s Streaker Boats has been appointed the sole Victorian dealer for Aussie-built Lewis Ski Boats. Lewis says its name has been at the forefront of Australian water skiing since the ‘30s, and today claims to use one of the strongest hull construction techniques in the industry.
Streaker Boats director Leon Savage said he was thrilled with the appointment.
“Lewis Ski Boats is deservedly one of the benchmark brand names in the Australian leisure boat business,” Savage said.
“I am greatly impressed with the complete Lewis package — the design, construction, presentation and performance are all first rate,” he said.
“I have the greatest respect for the Lewis brand and the Lewis heritage. It is with great pride that Streaker Boats is now representing the Lewis brand in Victoria.”
The first model to be added is the Eclipse, available in two colours. It has been described as “a wonderful blend of classic mid mount skiboat with the addition of the bowrider section and wakeboard tower.”
The Lewis Eclipse is powered by a MerCruiser 350 Towsport mid mount engine, with forward, neutral and reverse transmission. It is said to be a spacious and comfortable boat, with many unique features. The bow section is one of the largest on the market, says Lewis, and there is a large rear storage locker, sidepockets, as well as a full length storage unit behind the observer’s seat and under the deck.
“There are competitive skiboats that are way more expensive and others that are pretty basic and cheap,” Savage added. “The Lewis Eclipse delivers great value for money with thousands of hours of safe boating ahead.”
To celebrate the appointment, Streaker Boats is offering an introductory package consisting of a highly optioned Lewis Eclipse as a complete turnkey package on a tandem trailer for $65,490.
More models from the Lewis Ski Boats range are expected to join the range early next year.
