Cruise Craft appoints Fleet Marine
Cruise Craft has announced the appointment of Fleet Marine as its new Melbourne and Victorian dealer for Cruise Craft boats. Fleet Marine is an established and respected marine retailer that has recently relocated to an expansive, purpose built marine showroom, said Cruise Craft.
Dealership principal Simon Miller said the appointment brings his personal association with Cruise Craft to a full circle.
“I have always loved the Cruise Craft brand,” said Miller. “Prior to my involvement in the marine industry, I actually owned three Cruise Craft boats at different times. These were two Cruise Craft Resort 6 bowriders and then a Cruise Craft Explorer 625 which I used for family boating,” he said.
“Cruise Craft design and build fantastic boats. They are superb for our boating conditions on Port Phillip Bay.
“When the opportunity presented itself to be the Cruise Craft dealer for Melbourne I jumped at it. This is a wonderful opportunity to represent a true icon of the Australian marine industry, an absolutely first rate, high quality fibreglass brand.”
Peter Benston, national sales and marketing manager for Cruise Craft, said the appointment was a major coup.

Simon Miller said he had already committed to stocking the full Cruise Craft range of Explorers, Outsiders, Executives and resort bowriders.
“This is a range of boat with many features and benefits of the brand,” said Miller. “It takes time, patience and an understanding to sell a quality product like Cruise Craft, it doesn’t happen overnight and we are prepared to work with and support the market,” he said.
“I have always maintained that with Cruise Craft, you may perhaps buy cheaper, but you will never buy a better quality boat.”
Fleet Marine replaces the previous Cruise Craft dealer, Prestige RV of Geelong, which retired from the marine industry to concentrate its efforts on its caravan business.
Cruise Craft is a wholly family owned, third generation Australian boat manufacturing business, operating from its Brisbane manufacturing facility.
