Webster's Twinfisher appoints Brisbane dealer Northside Marine

The Webster’s Twinfisher brand has expanded its dealership network with the appointment of Northside Marine in Brisbane. The appointment was concluded just in time for the Brisbane Boat Show, and Northside Marine was able to display the Webster’s Twinfisher to the Qld public – with instant results, said the company.

Northside Marine is one of Brisbane’s most respected marine dealerships, said the company. It was founded by Keith Nickerson in 1965, the father of current dealership principal Greg Nickerson, and to this day it remains a family owned business.

Unlike most cat hulls, the Webster’s Twinfisher uses a single outboard engine rather than a dual installation. The company said that cost savings and benefits of the Webster’s configuration are achieved with a uniquely designed hull without compromising performance.

Positioned by the manufacturer as “the perfect fishing boat” the Webster’s Twinfisher range of trailerable aluminium catamarans includes runabouts, centre-consoles and bassmasters. There are also some smaller tiller steer models.

Daniel Schofield, co-director of Webster’s Twinfisher, said he was very pleased with the appointment. “We are exceptionally happy to have Northside Marine representing the Webster’s Twinfisher brand in Brisbane,” said Schofield.

“Our Webster’s Twinfisher boats are a unique boat, both in design and performance. It demands that we have a dealer who is committed to superior customer service, one who genuinely appreciates the construction and performance traits.

“Greg Nickerson and his entire team at Northside Marine are justifiably rated as one of the most professional in Australia. We have absolute confidence that they will represent the Webster’s Twinfisher brand and Webster’s Twinfisher customers particularly well.”

Northside Marine already has brands like Whittley, Stacer and Rinker on the showroom floor, and the company said that the addition of Webster’s Twinfisher is regarded as a significant coup.

“The timing with our Webster’s Twinfisher could not have been better,” said Bill Hull, boat sales dept manager at Northside Marine. “We displayed the Webster’s Twinfisher 4.9 at the Brisbane Boat Show. Daniel and Kelly Schofield were at the show to talk to our customers and help launch the brand.”

“The initial response was exceptional. We sold several Webster’s Twinfisher boats off the stand at the show and we have lots of enquiries to follow up over the ensuing weeks,” said Hull.

“This is a great boat for our local boating conditions,” he concluded.

Webster’s Twinfisher boats are manufactured in the NSW town or Orange.
