BAYSPORT BOATS APPOINTS MELBOURNE'S BL MARINE
Baysport Boats (formerly Freedom Boats) has found a new home in Melbourne with the appointment of Yamaha dealership BL Marine as its exclusive dealer.
The Baysport Boats range was recently displayed by BL Marine for the first time at the Melbourne Boat Show, with dealership principal Craig O’Donnell rating the launch as “fantastic.”
“We presented the Baysport Boats as complete packaged rigs with Yamaha two-stroke and four-stroke outboards,” said O’Donnell. “Judging by customer feedback and the orders that we took at the show, I would rate the product launch as first rate.”
Baysport Boats are positioned as entry level fibreglass boats, although the company said they lack nothing in structural integrity or features. Baysport boats typically have fibreglass stringers, hydraulic steering, carpet, stainless steel rails, and boarding ladders.
With three key models – the Baysport Sports 575, Baysport Offshore 620 and Sports 640 – the company said customers have an excellent choice of boat size and style to suit their boating style and budget, as well as access to competitive finance with Yamaha Motor Finance (YMF).
“These boats represent great value for money and that’s why we sought to gain the Baysport dealership for Melbourne,” said O’Donnell.
BL Marine is located in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, in a growing residential corridor. The site has a vast sales area.
The appointment comes hot on the heels of another appointment as a Stacer dealer, and Craig O’Donnell said he was elated by his company’s new direction.
“It’s a credit to our team here at BL Marine that we have won both the Baysport and Stacer dealerships,” he said. “We can support BL Marine customers with quality name brand boats, each powered by market leading Yamaha outboard engines. It’s an ideal combination.”
BL Marine said that one of the key benefits of selling the Yamaha brand is that customers have a complete choice of outboard technology. When buying Baysport, customers can choose from the Yamaha two-stroke or four-stroke outboard. High tech, low emission Yamaha VMAX engines are also avaialable for customers wanting direct injection technology.
Yamaha outboards are available through an Australia-wide network of authorised Yamaha outboard dealers. All Yamaha four-stroke outboards are supported with a full four year manufacturer’s warranty and all two-stroke outboards are backed by a three year warranty (standard conditions apply).
