Webb Marine appointed NSW PowerCat dealer

PowerCat recently appointed Sydney based catamaran specialist Webbe Marine as its exclusive NSW dealer for fibreglass PowerCat boats.

Webb Marine said the long established PowerCat brand is one of the most awarded in the industry. PowerCat is entirely Australian designed and manufactured, just like its other two brands - Sailfish aluminium catamarans and Webster’s Twinfisher aluminium cats.

Webbe Marine said PowerCat is one of the original and best renowned fiberglass power catamaran manufacturers in Australia, and that the brand is well known for its sleek looks and high performance. Webbe Marine’s Ashley Faraj said his dealership is now the ultimate cat specialist in offering three uniquely different brands of power catamarans, while also representing Honda outboards.

“The backbone of Webbe Marine was Sailfish, a top end, high quality aluminium catamaran,” said Faraj. “Then we recently won the rights to market and sell the NSW built Webster’s Twinfisher aluminium cats. Now that PowerCat has come on board, we have truly rounded out the catamaran range to become the most comprehensive one-stop shop for power catamarans,” he said.

“PowerCat was the brand that I envied from afar, so when the opportunity presented itself to become the first and only marine retailer to be appointed by the manufacturer, we understandably seized it,” he added.

The PowerCat range includes boats for serious bluewater angling, sports boating and commercial applications. The range begins with the 2500 model and goes all the way to the PowerCat 3100 series.

PowerCat owners Steve and Lynda Shaw said they were very pleased with the appointment. “After selling PowerCat direct for such a long time, we decided it was time to go to the next level of business development and appoint a dealer to represent our product,” said Steve Shaw.
