Malibu tops it again

The Malibu 2009 Wakesetter VLX has received the prestigious “Boat of the Year” award from US-based Powerboat Magazine.

The award, which considered a wide range of criteria including design, performance and implementation, is the eighth “Boat of the Year” award in a row for Malibu. The company said it has now won no less than 19 such awards.

Malibu said its engineers are already designing new innovations and improvements for the next model.

The Wakesetter VLX is currently on display at the Melbourne Boat Show.
