NEWS - Webbe Marine appointed NSW/ACT Webster's Twinfisher dealer

Sydney catamaran powerboat specialist Webbe Marine says it has added a new line of catamaran hulls to the product range with their appointment as the sole NSW/ACT agent for Webster’s Twinfisher cats.

Ashley Faraj of Webbe Marine said that his dealership for some time had been keen to expand on their range of catamarans.

“We have enjoyed great success with our line of Sailfish aluminium catamarans,” Faraj said. “We wanted to cement our position in the marketplace as a dealership that deals exclusively in cat designed boats.

“Our discussions with (Webster’s Twinfisher owners) Kelly and Daniel Schofield started over a year ago and we are now delighted to have been appointed as the exclusive NSW and ACT dealer.
Our association has started on a great footing as we sold our first Webster’s boat the very week that it arrived at our dealership,” said Faraj.

Webbe Marine said that unlike most cat hulls, the Webster’s Twinfisher uses a single outboard engine, not a dual installation. The cost savings and benefits of the Webster configuration are achieved with a uniquely designed hull without compromising performance, added the dealership.

Positioned by the manufacturer as ‘the perfect fishing boat’, Webbe Marine continued that the Webster’s Twinfisher range covers a comprehensive line-up of trailerable aluminium catamarans that includes runabouts, centre console and bassmaster configurations, as well as some smaller tiller steer models.

Kelly Schofield of the Orange (NSW) based Webster’s Twinfisher company said that the appointment of Webbe Marine was taken after extensive research.

“When we decided to appoint a new dealer for NSW and the ACT we took our time and did our homework,” Schofield said.

“We want this to be a long-term association and found that Gavan and Ashley at Webbe Marine enjoy an exceptional reputation as businessmen. We liked the fact that they are catamaran specialists.”

“Webbe Marine is a great fit for our brand,” said Schofield.

Webbe Marine said it will be stocking several length models in the Webster’s Twinfisher range, notably the 4.3, 4.9 and 5.2 boats.

“Kelly and Daniel sent us their popular 4.9m Webster’s Twinfisher to check over and try out on the water,” said Faraj. “It was rigged with a Honda 90hp four-stroke outboard and we were very impressed with the performance of the boat.”

Webbe Marine added that it will have a comprehensive range of Webster Twinfisher hulls on display at the Sydney International Boat Show next month.

Webbe Marine said it is also the authorised agent for the Sailfish boats and represents Honda outboards.
