According to Hobie, the Mirage Pro Angler has a revolutionary design that delivers extraordinary stability. It is said to be capable of taking a payload of over 270kg, and there’s horizontal storage for up to six rods, plus vertical storage for a further two. There’s also room for up to 13 Plano tackle boxes.
There are three in-hull storage compartments and a further on-deck storage area for an optional livewell or cooler, plus mounting boards on each side for a fishfinder, a GPS, lights or a downrigger.
The craft is powered by Hobie’s MirageDrive, pedal-powered propulsion system, which eliminates the need for a paddle. You can forget about noisy outboards or expensive fuel bills — just make sure you pack yourself a decent lunch!
