Queensland’s Maritimo continues to grow with the world wide success of their expansive range of luxury cruisers and motor yachts. Their motto is “Oceans Apart!” and when you consider the chic, futuristic designs and fit outs informed by traditional seafaring ideals, it's little wonder why.

This late-model Maritimo M64 cruising motor yacht is now for sale, thanks to its current owner's desire to downsize his boating lifestyle. The model was officially launched in May 2016 at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and has proven particularly popular with strong reported sales. It's a stablemate to the hugely popular M70 cruising motor yacht, but comes with a lower price tag. The boat is fitted with all the features you'd expect on larger vessels, yet its compact dimensions mean those restricted by tight berthing requirements no longer need to compromise on luxury and long-range performance. To put it simply, this Maritimo M64 is a true show stopper!

The vessel has returned to the original selling dealer that built and sold this beautiful motor yacht hence they have an intimate understanding of the boat. They were present throughout the whole build process, so the provenance is assured.

The sleek lines are nautical eye-candy, with a gorgeous dropping sheer-line through to the high bow, teardrop windows, enclosed flybridge with extended deck awning – all with premium fittings and accessories. From the moment you board from the hydraulic swim platform on the transom you know you will be in for a treat. The spacious living area, with apartment-sized living space, makes this boat suitable for accommodating a large family. It has a full-beam master suite, with king bed and en suite, fully enclosed fly bridge, walk-around decks, bi-fold doors and the brand's trademark enclosed stairway between bridge and lounge. There’s even a huge lazarette in the transom to store a multitude of toys and tools, plus an outdoor BBQ with sink.

Maritimo have incorporated a huge amount of on-board living and entertaining space into the M64. It provides spacious dual-level luxury and numerous entertainment options. There’s a massive galley to the rear of the saloon with a terrific island bench, with stools, that often becomes the centre of entertainment. The galley features domestic sized refrigerators and Miele appliances; microwave, two speed ovens, wine fridge, a full size opening pantry, Miele dishwasher tops and plenty of storage. The finishing is simply awesome with dark gloss timber cabinetry accented by bone Corian benchtops and a host of polished stainless fittings.

This M64 truly has the feel of a high-end apartment – if not better! In keeping with all Maritimo motor yachts, the owner's personal taste has been accommodated into the finished layout, including choice of handcrafted timber detailing, convertible berths, relocatable tables and a wet bar.

Moving toward the bow we find the main saloon complete with a plush dinette to host a more formal dinner party, or perhaps just relax in front of the pop-up Samsung 40-inch LED TV after a long day at sea. This is only one of four TVs throughout the boat. The bone ceiling liner and sides are dotted with a mixture of alluring mood lighting, plus there are chic Roman style blinds and air conditioning ducts in the pelmets throughout.

Downstairs is accommodation in three cabins, each with en suite. The full beam master is a treat to all the senses with beautiful appointments and premium finishes. There’s a large en suite behind the bed bulkhead complete with a huge shower to wash your cares away. This M64 also features a Guest VIP stateroom plus a further double berth in the bow – all magnificently appointed.

Moving up to the flybridge, the stairwell is very easy to negotiate – even for those of us with bad knees. The presentation is superb, with a wide vista through the three panel windscreen and the tear shaped sides. It flows into a small settee at the top of the stairs and a plush L-shaped leather lounge before a set of cantilevered doors that open the skylounge when the weather permits. The facilities upstairs are ample, with a small kitchenette with bar fridge and polished sideboard on the port side.

The helm is a navigator's delight with deluxe PYS helmsman’s chairs. A large electronics suite includes Simrad electronics packing with NSO19 Displays, RS12 VHF, GS15, GPS, BSM-1 Broadband-Sounder, B258 Transducer, 4G Broadband Radar, AP28 Autopilot, complete with joystick controls to the upstairs helm and cockpit featuring iAnchor spot lock positioning. There is Maritimo power assist steering, bow and stern hydraulic thruster controls, Muir Thor 24V anchor winch remote and of course switch gear for all such as lighting and bilge pumps.

With Maritimo’s super-efficient shaft drive and hull design technology the M64's fuel capacity of 5,600 litres will give it a great range. Powered by a pair of Volvo D13 900HP engines, it places 1,800HP at your disposal, while Maritimo’s race-proven shaft drive and hull design technology ensures superior fuel consumption for long range, high-speed blue water cruising. Maritimo say, “The perfect example of where innovative engineering and design efficiency combine to deliver the ultimate performer.”

There is a long inventory of added standard and optional features including an ice maker in the lower entertainment unit, Idromar watermaker with sand filter produces 130 litres per hour, a Waeco CF110 chest freezer in the lazarette with a water blaster, 17kw Onan Generator, four 210amp house batteries with 4kw - 100amp charger/inverter, underwater lights and even self-closing toilet seats.
