Leading sportswear companies have unveiled their 2012 winter collections, showcasing outfits for the boating enthusiast on and offshore in the latest designs and high-tech fabrics.
HENRI LLOYD 2012 BLUE ECO BOMBER JACKET
Henri Lloyd
has chosen charcoal as the palette for its 2012 Blue Eco collection, creating a sterling look that will appeal to the environmentally-conscientious buyer.
The 2012 collection comprises a
bomber jacket,
fleece jacket, fleece hat, and neck gaiter, made from TP Eco fabric that will be recycled into technical clothing once it's returned to Henri Lloyd.
The 100% waterproof, windproof bomber jacket is breathable, can be worn on its own as an outer shell, or as part of a layering system. The jacket incorporates a Super DWR finish to repel water, a fleece lining for thermal insulation, a two-way non-corrosive front full-length zip, and features welded side pockets, with water resistant zips.
Like all products in the Blue Eco range, the bomber jacket is machine washable and available in sizes XS-XXL.The Blue Eco Bomber jacket retails for $260, Blue Eco accessories start from $35.
The Henri Lloyd bomber jacket "closes the loop", decluttering your wardrobe in the process. Not only is it made from recycled material but you can also return it to Henri Lloyd for recycling when you're done.
MUSTO TO EXPAND WOMEN'S RANGE + PRICE REDUCTION ON TECHNICAL RANGES
Musto
has increased its offering for women this season, releasing a new channel jacket and matching drop seat trousers in its Breathable collection, and a soft stylish shell jacket and gillet – designed for athletic female form – in the Evolution range.
The Breathable range provides greater comfort in warmer climates for casual sailors, while items in the Evolution range are purpose-made for a variety of demanding conditions.
Musto's 2012 Evolution range will come in a choice of red, platinum, navy, and carbon.
Musto has also revamped many of its items within the technical ranges including its high performance HPX ocean jacket and the BR1 inshore jacket in time for the new season, which will be on display at the
international boat show at Sanctuary Cove.
The release will also coincide with a new pricing structure that's sure to appeal to the budding boating enthusiast.

MATCHING SAFETY JACKETS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY BY RFD
In keeping with the new Australian Standard AS4758, RFD has designed a new range of personal floatation devices for children. Child sizes are included in the Sirocco, Mistral, Diablo and Hurricane ranges, so that the entire family can be decked out in matching PFDs.
Child sizes in the Sirocco and Mistral PFDs begin in XS for toddlers weighing between 10-15kg, incrementally increasing to child medium. The Hurricane and Diablo PFDs are available in child medium.
