New Electronics - NavPilot 700

Furuno has released its latest generation of autopilots, the NavPilot 700 series. Available in a 1DIN size as the NavPilot 711, a 2DIN size as the NavPilot 700, and the handheld NavPilot 720, this latest range has a new processor and boasts full NMEA2000 connectivity.

The systems can incorporate up to six heads of any combination, and provide output for pump, linear drives and solenoids.

The customisable display allows users to select the most appropriate digital and analogue graphic data. The NavPilot 700 series has a range of different modes of operation, like Fish Hunter Mode, for following a pre-programmed path around a waypoint, fish school or trolling pattern. There’s also Nav Mode and Advanced Mode, for maintaining a desired heading while compensating for wind and currents.
