Raymarine’s rugged Ray101E handheld VHF radio is an easy to use portable radio that uses long-life Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries with 1300mA capacity.
It has backlit keys for night operations, a large high-contrast LCD display, and can be operated left or right hand. It comes supplied with six rechargeable cells and a rapid drop-in charger for charging at anytime. There’s also a charger base, wrist strap, belt clip, and a 12V adaptor for cigarette lighters.
The Ray101E is waterproofed to IPX7 standards, meaning it is submersible to 1m for at least 30 minutes. It has a limited three-year warranty.
