2014 SCBS: Game and Leisure Boats
Graham McCloy from Game & Leisure Boats is a veteran of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, having attended the event for 14 years and counting.
“It’s been a great show for us over the years,” says McCloy. “Our boats are the sort of boats that we don’t necessarily sell a lot of at the show but people want sea trials of our boats because many of them are avid fishermen. So they do the sea trail afterwards and that’s where we make our sale.”
GAME & LEISURE BOATS
Game & Leisure Boats had two high-end sportfishing boats on the water and six boats on the hardstand at the 2014 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
On the water were a Cabo 40HTX (Hard Top Express) gameboat and a Grady-White 370 Canyon — actually the first Grady-White 370 Canyon in Australia. This last one is more of a sportfisher than a heavy gamefisher, according to McCloy.
On the hardstand were smaller Grady-White boats, new Caribbean boats, as well as Regal sportsboats and bowriders.
As you may know, Caribbean boats are made locally by International Marine, in Melbourne, Victoria. Game & Leisure Boats was very recently appointed a Caribbean boats dealer, covering the entire range from 16 to 49ft.
NEW AND USED BOATS
In addition to the above brands, Game & Leisure Boats also carries a large range of used boats and carries a good range of brokerage. “We’ve got everything from big Maritimos and Rivieras right down to small trailerboats in our yard.” Game & Leisure Boats also does boat trade-ins.
