Launched from Maritimo’s Gold Coast factory at Hope Island in 2008, the M60 is powered by twin Caterpillar C18 diesel engines of 1015hp each, with performance said to be outstanding. Vendor, SBM Maritimo Sydney, quotes a comfortable and economical cruise speed of 22 to 23kts and an exhilarating top-end speed of 31.5kts. With additional tanks, fuel capacity totals 7200lt making long-haul planning a breeze.
