Integrity Yachts' New 530 Grand Sedan Raised Pilot House
According to Integrity Yachts, the new Integrity 530 is a 16m luxury yacht with a standard of style and performance that has never been seen in this category.
Brett Flanagan, founder and director of Integrity Yachts, said he has equipped the new vessel with “the best of everything”.
“We did the drawings on this new, larger model, which has all the features and feeling of a 65-to-70-footer, and fell in love with it,” he said. “We just had to have one!”
The new boat is currently in build at the company’s factory over in Guangzhou, China.
The Integrity Yachts 530 Grand Sedan Raised Pilot House is a massive step forward for the brand, now in its seventh year and with 64 boats on the water.
The hull and keel have been refined so that the Integrity 530 will turn more efficiently at higher speeds, while the full-length keel encases the rudder and propeller. Propulsion has been changed to a 700hp Scania engine, offering more power and fuel efficiency for long-range cruising.
But it’s the accommodation that Flanagan believes sets the 530 apart. “We have managed to create a full-beam master suite, with separate shower and head,” he said. “The forward guest suite too is full beam with large en suite, and the adjacent third cabin has Pullman beds.
“We aim to make it perfect. We will keep this first model fairly neutral so people can add their own ideas. Being semi-custom, nothing is set in stone, which our customers love.”
The first 530 is destined for the Whitsundays, according to Flanagan. “We will take her to Airlie Beach for Race Week and spend some time around the islands.”
