Clipper Hudson Bay 47

The Clipper Hudson Bay 47 is the fourth luxury boat that Clipper Motor Yachts released as part of its “6 models over 6 days” campaign.

The layout of the all-new Hudson Bay 47 layout is based around a midships master cabin with clever island bed, oversized portholes, separate en suite shower and toilet facilities, and a second cabin with either twin single beds or queen berth. Owners also have their own en suite bathroom.

The Hudson Bay 47’s interior features walkaround decks, a sunroof, starboard side-opening helm door, and cockpit rear seating that features a glossy teak table. The layout design is meant to maximise single-level entertaining.

ENGINES

The Clipper Hudson Bay 47 is a semi-displacement cruising hull that Clipper Yachts says delivers exceptional fuel economy. Power comes from twin 480hp Cummins diesel marine engines (as standard) which Clipper says will reach a sprint speed of over 21kts. For fuel economy on long cruises, the Clipper Hudson Bay 47 will travel at 8kts. Fuel economy is estimated at 26lt/h combined, according to Clipper.

An optional hydraulic platform, stabilisers and Cummins Joystick docking system can be added as options.

PRICE

The 2016 Clipper Hudson Bay 47 has a starting price of $950,000.
