New outboard motors: Tohatsu MFS25 and 30C
- New and improved four-stroke 15, 20, 25 and 30hp Tohatsu outboard motors launched.

Tohatsu has released its new MFS25/30C four-stroke outboard engines along with the new Tohatsu MFS15 and 20D engines. The release follows on the success of the Tohatsu MFS40/50A four-stroke engines, released last year.
Features on the new Tohatsu MFS25 and 30C engines include a new gear design and ratio, said to improve economy and overall performance and handling. These engines also have variable idle control for trolling, for extended operation while trolling.
Another new feature is the TOCS “Tohatsu On-board Communication System” for communicating with electronic devices (a data cable is optional). There’s also a simple flushing system for straightforward maintenance.
Tohatsu MFS25 and Tohatsu 30C outboard engines are available with standard tillers, multi-function tillers (on some models) and with forward control.
