Arvor 690 D | Arvor 730 D
Anglers who appreciate a good solid cabin on their fishing boats will find a lot to like about the latest Arvor boats release. The new Arvor 690 and Arvor 730 blend a traditionally-styled wheelhouse trailerboat with the reliability of a diesel shaftdrive engine.
Two new Arvor boat models have arrived in Australia this summer: the 690 D and the 730 D, both powered by shaftdrive Mercury Diesel inboard engine.
The new models herald a fresh deck layout on the proven Arvor hull, which means more fishing room and better access to the bow, while the fully-enclosed cabin gives greater visibility and a more comfortable journey.
Early sea trials saw the Arvor 690 D hitting 22kts, while the larger 730 D will push to in excess of 23kts, but it’s the low-speed trolling capability and impressive range that add to offshore fishing appeal.
Hardcore fishos will love storage for up to six rods, lockable floor storage, a big fish locker, livewell and self-draining deck, but there’s plenty to recommend these boats as family cruisers, too.
For one thing, there’s safe access onto the boat via a walkthrough transom and wide sidedecks to access the bow seating/casting platform.
Tall cabin windows give all-round visibility and the forward berth easily converts to a decent double bed with infill, while a marine toilet is also available on the larger Arvor 730 D.
Arvor Australia managing director Peter Collins said: “This new-generation Arvor offers the best of both worlds.
“It brings together the tried and tested Arvor hull, originally designed for the North Sea, with a modern deck configuration similar to our Sportsfish range in a seamless package that means better fishing and better comfort for our customers,” he said.
