SYDNEY BOAT SHOW 2014
Show stopper guide, all you need to know
The Sydney Boat Show is back with a twist for 2014, opening its doors at a brand new location: Glebe Island’s historic port.
Running from July 31 to August 4, the Sydney Boat Show will be like no other, with over 300 boat show exhibitors presenting a huge collection of the latest boats, boating services and boating accessories from the world’s leading manufacturers.
Whether you’re a professional skipper or a new boating fan, this event has everything you need to enhance your time on board. This year’s 47th show promises to be bigger than ever with six halls of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre filled with the finest in marine equipment and first-class entertainment.
An especially popular event making its return at the Sydney boat show is the Walk of Fame, where visitors can enjoy inspecting historic vessels along the marina. Other highlights will include expert guest speakers and the annual boat building competition in Cockle Bay.
WHAT'S ON?
Unlike previous events, the 2014 Sydney boat show will operate from two locations. On-water boats will be displayed at Cockle Bay Marina in Darling Harbour.
Underdcover stands will exhibit at Glebe Island.
The organisers will provide a free ferry service between Darling Harbour and Glebe Island, while a free shuttle bus will also operate from Central Station.
Very limited parking is available on Glebe Island.
