NEWS - PowerCat's Back

Multi-award winning PowerCat Marine has recommenced full production of its nine-boat power-catamaran range. After a short break travelling Australia, owners Steve and Lynda Shaw are now back into full operation from their Brisbane-based production facility at Caboolture.

The builder has been in production for almost 30 years and delivered more than 2000 boats for the sportsfishing, cruising and commercial markets. Its core value being to create exceptionally-built cats with a reputation for exacting construction standards, performance, premium quality finishes and value for money.

PowerCat said testament to the quality of its craft is the more than 10 Boat of the Year awards from some of the boating industry’s most notable organisations.

And a key benefit for those considering purchasing boat, says the builder, is that it can offer an “unmatched level” of customization — layout, engine options, electronics, fish setup or general cruising. PowerCat adds that with an extensive range of standard inclusions anyway, its boats are turnkey and ready for boating off the shelf.

PowerCat Marine also tells us it offers clients “complete peace of mind” in regard to aftersales service and support “long after they take delivery”.

The Powercat Marine range starts with its most popular model, the Powercat 2500 Sports Fisherman ranging up to their Powercat 3800 Sports Cruiser and can build a range of custom Party or Commercial boats suit specific needs. It is also the Queensland agent for Ocean Whaler tri-hull centre console fishing boats.

PowerCat Marine said a demo 2500 Sports Fisherman is available for immediate inspection and delivery, or it can build a cat from their range in eight to 10 weeks. The company pointed out another feature and benefit
of the 2500 Sports Fisherman is that it’s the largest legally trailerable boat on the market.
